About Us

Anza began with a simple act of love.

After learning about period poverty around the world, I wanted to make sure the girls closest to me felt prepared and supported when it was their turn to experience their first period. As the oldest grandchild in my family, I naturally became the "big sister" to my younger siblings and cousins. I created special first-period care packages called Moon Boxes, filled with period essentials, educational resources, and comforting surprises. On our homepage, you'll see my little cousin opening her very first Moon Box.

What started within my family has grown into Anza.

At Anza, we believe every girl deserves to experience her first period with confidence, dignity, and support. Through thoughtfully curated first-period kits and trusted education, we're helping girls—and the families who support them—navigate puberty with confidence and break the stigma surrounding menstruation.

  • The Problem We Saw

Many girls face their first period feeling confused, embarrassed, or anxious.
Without guidance or support, this important milestone can become stressful
    instead of empowering.

  • Our Solution

The Anza Box transforms the first period experience into a moment of confidence,
comfort, and celebration. Each kit is thoughtfully curated to provide guidance,
essential products, and keepsakes that make her feel prepared and supported.

  • Our Vision

We envision a world where every girl approaches her first period with confidence,
knowledge, and joy. Our goal is to build a tradition of empowerment, trust, and
open conversation around this rite of passage.

Non-Profit Roots - Every Month Inc.

Anza began with a simple belief: no girl should have to miss out on life because of her period.

Inspired by organizations like Every Month Inc., Anza was created to address challenges. In many parts of the world, girls miss school because they lack access to menstrual products and education.

Here at home, while products may be more accessible, many girls still experience fear, confusion, stigma, and a lack of safe spaces to learn about their changing bodies.

Anza bridges that gap by combining essential period care with trusted education, conversation starters, and encouragement to help girls feel prepared, confident, and supported through their first period.

Every purchase also helps support our broader mission of reducing period poverty by giving back to organizations working to expand access to menstrual products and menstrual education in underserved communities.

Because every girl deserves to navigate her period with confidence, dignity, and the support she needs—no matter where she lives.
